Born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles, in the midst of the surf, skate, music, and art scene, he moved to Kauai in 1989 to follow his passion for surfing and travel. Visiting Tahiti, Samoa, Mexico, Canada, Japan, and New York, he combined pop and surf culture, and surf punk evolved.
Working in layers and mixed media materials from street signs, license plates, spray paint, diamond dust, wheat paste, and resin, creating multi layers and textures. Having a graffiti art background while combining mixed medias allows him to create playful art creations, keeping it original and not perfect without swinging from his roots.
